The case of the nº68, neither round nor square, is made of medical grade 316L stainless steel, which is perfectly suited to prolonged contact with the skin. It is treated with black DLC, a coating used on the sensitive parts of F1 engines for its amazing resistance to wear. The 40 mm case is made up of 3 layers of different finishes that invite the light to create a unique spectacle of reflections. It is waterproof to 10 bar.
The Apose dial is the result of an original process that combines high technology and original know-how. It was thought to compensate for the absence of French dial maker. The flange is the part that most distinguishes Apose watches. The 12 indexes sculpted in the mass as an extension of the flange seem to levitate above the dial.
The French automatic movement is the result of the collaboration between Apose and the Festina Group, which revived the famous manufacture of movements France Ebauches, disappeared in the 90s. Its technical characteristics and performances are excellent: 44 hours of power reserve, 4Hz frequency (28800 vibrations/h), oscillating weight with bidirectional winding. The movement is internally regulated at Apose to a precision of -4|+4 sec/day.
The bracelet created by Apose is unique in its design. It is made of perforated Longchamp leather and has a metal end piece, treated in black DLC, as an extension of the case middle. The lugs are 20 mm apart.
