Apose was born from an unfortunate observation within the world of watchmaking:
French craftsmanship is no longer valued by most brands, which now rely on Asian industries for the production of watch components.
We want Apose to stand as a brand of exceptional quality, defined by three commitments that are truly unique today:
• The adoption of every code of French elegance, now at risk of disappearing amid the ostentatious styles of international brands.
• Entirely French manufacturing, long considered impossible since the decline of the watchmaking industry during the deindustrialisation of the 1980s.
• The creation of a community of young designers, researchers and aesthetes determined to act together — to define, sustain and defend French elegance around the world.
We aim to develop Apose by creating original collections each year — pieces that become ever more exceptional through their design, their conception, their ability to transcend age and style, and through the quality of their materials and components.
We wish to return to the forgotten fundamentals of luxury: rooted not in unattainable price, but in offset, inventiveness, joyful indiscipline, surprise, and creativity.
We will continue to refine an art without a name — an art we apply to each of our creations, seeking to compose the most beautiful choreographies of matter, light, relief and reflection.
