Binding version: This English page is a concise overview. The French “Conditions Générales de Vente” (CGV) are the only binding version and prevail in case of discrepancy.
1. Scope
These Terms govern use of the website and the sale of products by Apose to consumers and professionals with delivery addresses in Metropolitan France and Corsica, and internationally (EU, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States).
Orders outside this perimeter may be accepted at Apose’s discretion via direct contact (not through the online checkout).
Customers must be of legal age and act without intent to resell.
Apose may update these Terms at any time; the version in force at the time of your order applies.

3. Website & Availability
The site is generally available 24/7, subject to maintenance or force majeure.
Apose does not warrant error-free operation and is not liable for network or transmission issues.
4. Products & Presentation
Products are shown within available stock. Photos and descriptions are illustrative; reasonable differences may occur due to digital display.
Products comply with applicable French and EU regulations relating to health and safety.
Apose may update designs, materials or specifications; the information displayed at the time of order prevails.
5. Orders
Creating an account may be required.
Placing an order implies full acceptance of these Terms.
Apose confirms acceptance by email (subject to stock and verification). If an item is unavailable at shipping, Apose will propose a new date or refund within 14 days.
Apose may refuse, suspend or cancel orders in cases of non-payment, fraud (suspected or confirmed), abnormal quantities, stock withdrawal, or internal logistics issues (refund of paid sums without other compensation).

6. Prices
Prices are shown in EUR, excl. and incl. VAT as applicable in France, at the time of payment.
Handling is included; shipping fees are shown before checkout. Standard shipping is free only in Metropolitan France and Corsica.
For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties, taxes and import fees are borne by the Customer.
7. Payment
Payment is due in full upon order.
Accepted methods include bank cards (CB, Visa, Mastercard via Stripe PCI DSS Level 1) and PayPal (incl. eligible 3x/4x plans offered by PayPal).
Apose may restrict methods based on delivery address. In case of bank refusal, suspected fraud, or unpaid order after 24h, Apose may cancel the order.
Retention of title: Products remain Apose’s property until full payment. Risk transfers to the Customer upon physical receipt.
8. Promotions
Promo codes/offers may be issued with conditions (amount, expiry, availability). Only codes issued by Apose are guaranteed valid.
9. Shipping & Delivery
Carriers: Chronopost or UPS (or equivalent), Monday–Saturday depending on options chosen.
Where: France (Metropolitan/Corsica), EU, Switzerland, UK, USA. Physical addresses only (no P.O. boxes).
Timing: indicative lead times are shown at checkout. Standard maximums: up to 15 working days within France and 30 working days abroad (from the day after order confirmation). Delays under these thresholds do not incur liability.
A shipping email confirms dispatch. Apose bears transport risk until delivery.
On delivery: inspect packages and note any reservations on the carrier receipt; in case of damage, refuse and mark “refused due to damage”. Notify Apose within 10 days.
Apose may ship items in several parcels.
10. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
Consumers have 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw without reason.
Return the Product in its original box and packaging, complete (accessories, booklet, invoice), in perfect, resalable condition.
Notify withdrawal by email to contact@apose.fr to receive a form/acknowledgement.
Refunds cover the Product price only (return shipping at Customer’s cost), and are made within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned Product.
11. Returns (Practical Terms)
Contact Apose by email to obtain return instructions and provide photos attesting condition (or the defect claimed).
In France/Corsica, return shipping can be free under the stated conditions; otherwise Customer bears costs, except if the Product is confirmed defective (then Apose covers reasonable return costs, excluding certain zones).
Use appropriate protective packaging and a tracked/insured shipment. Non-compliant returns may be refused.
12. Refunds
Subject to inspection and perfect condition, Apose refunds via the original payment method, within 15 working days of notification/receipt as applicable.
13. Limited Editions / Inaugural Series
Specific delivery schedules may apply and will be disclosed at order or pre-order. Apart from those specific timings, these Terms apply in full.
14. After-Sales Service
Apose provides servicing and repairs only for watches sold on its site.
Send the watch (with invoice/certificate) by post; a free estimate is issued upon receipt. Work starts after acceptance (a 20% deposit may be requested).
Interventions are guaranteed 1 year (parts & labour) under normal use. Out-of-warranty return shipping is at Customer cost.
For repair estimates, consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right; the deposit is refunded if withdrawal is exercised in time. If the Customer requests performance before the end of the withdrawal period, a proportionate amount is due for services performed.
15. Legal Warranties
Products benefit, at no extra cost, from:

the legal conformity warranty (French Consumer Code, L.217-4 et seq.): 2-year period, choice of repair or replacement where conditions allow; proof relief for 24 months; and

the hidden defects warranty (French Civil Code, 1641 et seq.).
Exclusions include misuse, negligence, lack of care, non-Apose interventions, water damage beyond stated ratings (3 ATM / 30 m), normal wear, or abnormal handling.
To claim, notify Apose in writing within 15 days of discovering the defect and provide photos/a sworn statement.
Where applicable, Apose will repair, replace or refund. Shipping costs are refunded per invoice; returns are refunded on proof. Refunds occur within 30 days of confirmation of non-conformity/hidden defect.
16. Liability
Apose has an obligation of means across browsing, ordering, preparation, delivery, returns and refunds.
Apose is not liable for internet-related issues beyond its control (network, intrusion, virus, force majeure).
Customers must keep login details secure.
For professional Customers, Apose’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the order; indirect losses are excluded.
17. Intellectual Property
All site content (images, texts, videos, layouts) is Apose’s property. Any reproduction, framing/deep-linking or use of the APOSE trademark requires prior written consent.
18. Force Majeure & Hardship
Performance may be suspended or terminated without liability in cases of force majeure as defined by French law.
The legal hardship regime (Civil Code 1195) is excluded; each party bears its obligations even if performance becomes more onerous.
19. Communications
You agree to receive electronic communications (contracts, notices, information) that fulfil written-form requirements.
20. Governing Law, Language & Disputes
These Terms and related sales are governed by French law. The contract language is French; in case of translation, the French text prevails.
Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of French courts.
