The black PVD coating comprises 3 levels with varying diameters. The ensemble accentuates the finesse of the watch. The various different finishes of these 3 levels catch the light, further accentuating the elegance of the watch. The slim crown adorned with 120 notches adds an opulent feel to the piece. The back is engraved with the number of the collection and the 3 words that define Apose: pure, automatic and very French.
The flange is the most iconic part of Apose watches. It extends into the 12 finely chiselled trapezoid indexes. For the nº3 Black & Rose Gold, its finish is polished with a 5N rose gold coating.
The automatic movement that features on all the Apose watches is Newton®, certified Swiss-made in the Soprod manufacture and produced between the Swiss and French Jura. It contains no Southeast Asian components and boasts a distinctive, extremely understated design which required 3 years of R&D. It is already renowned for its reliability, precision and shock-resistance due to the cross-through balance bridge and Incabloc® double-cone shock absorber.
The bracelet is specific to Apose watches. An entire industrial development process was required. The 316L steel buckle is partially encased in a rubber extension on the sides. The strap is made from FKM synthetic rubber, the type of elastomer that provides the best protection from external aggressions. The strap has a NATO-inspired design or a Saffiano motif.
